If you are any good at maths you’ll note that I’m a little behind on Portrait 365 and I have some catching up to do in order to finish up on New Years Eve.
I didn’t mean to get behind, but you know……LIFE. I get stuck in a little rut of same same and get uninspired. But I’m off to Melbourne this weekend so there will be plenty of fresh inspiration around me.
I’ll make it up to you, I promise!
“It’s such an honour to have a baby. I feel really blessed to be able to nurture children to draw out their true essence.”
I had the honour of shooting Alana last week. I’ll put up an entire post shortly. She looks positively glowing.
“I’m afraid of rats. I don’t really know why. I’ve never really had a rat incident. I used to live in New York though, that could be why. They say in New York you’re never more than one metre away from a rat.”
“The week leading up to me saying goodbye was awful. I kept thinking ‘it’s the last time we do this, or the last time we do that.” At the airport I just said you have to walk away now, and he did.”
Sophie has just moved home to Australia from Canada and left the love of her life back there to finish his studies. He’ll join her in 9 months….. sounds like forever right?
I wish they were saying something really sweet but they weren’t. He got her in a headlock two seconds later.
“Tell me how you feel after coming home from travelling a third world country”
“It’s not that, it’s that I made really intense relationships and had a really intensely amazing experience and I’ve come home to my apartment and work and it’s kinda hard.”
“I call that the suck back.”
Nick has just been trekking and filming in Nepal. He is a talented producer and director… Listening to his tales of the Himalayas, and meeting amazing people who are contributing to the world reminded me of someone I once was. Totally jealous.
