It’s a tricky business the timing of pregnancy photography.
Too early and the mother doesn’t look as ripe as she’s going to be, too late and it’s a newborn shoot instead.
I’ve had that happen a few times.
It’s such an honour to shoot a family at this special time in their lives, and Alana had not had a shoot with her two other children so I suggested we have a little afternoon together.
Just them and I, and my trusty camera.
The timing of this shoot was planned damn near perfectly as the Holterman family welcomed a beautiful baby girl on the weekend.
Congratulations my dear friends. I can’t wait to meet little Wren.

Would love a family shoot, when will you be on the Gold Coast!??! 🙂 These are stunning, what a lucky family! xo
Just beautiful! Makes me want a tummy for you to shoot 🙂
Those black and white shots by the sea are stunning. Makes me wish I would have had some professional photos done.
thanks babe. I’m pretty happy with them to!
Really beautiful photos. I think my favourite is the quirky family kissing shot.
I love that too…. and the black and white where the dust jacket is blowing perfectly out behind. Flukey, arsey timing.
how gorgeous are your friends! Family pic with bubba on bump is stunning! I did not look that hot the weekend before Max came that’s for sure!
Ax
You so did. But yeah, they’re a bit cute.
