It was only when I got a super knowledgeable trainer a few years ago that I learned the benefits of weights. Until then I thought picking things up only to put them down again was a really lame pastime, however now I know the importance of hefting weights.
This kettle bell workout is a fantastic weights workout that can be smashed out in less time than an episode of Friends.

Weight bearing exercise is known to increase bone density and may help to reduce the chances of getting osteoporosis, so a ticket to the gun show plus strong bones are all spectacularly favorable things.
I can’t always get to the gym because you know, life, however, I know that sneaking workouts into my routine is great for my body and my mind. I bought a couple of el cheapo kettle bells from Aldi for $20 each and came up with a workout that is fabbo for the entire body, and can be smashed out in under 30 minutes.
Get kettle-bells that are easy for you to pick up. I’m using two eight kilo bells, and one 12 kilo bell, but you’re better off starting light and working your way up then going in too strong and injuring yourself.
There are 10 exercises and you do 10 repetitions of each. Then you run through the entire sequence three times for a whole body workout in no time flat.

- 10 x Single arm pulls
- 10 x Raised arm lunges
- 10 x Kettle bell swings
- 10 x Chest press
- 10 x Sumo pulls with shoulder pull
- 10 x Shoulder press
- 10 x Pullover
